Besides being one of the three wise men, Balthazar (from Phoenician Balat-shar-usur, meaning 'Baal protects the king') was also an alternate form of Belshazzar, a Babylonian king mentioned in the Book of Daniel. Belshazzar is believed to correspond to Labynetos, the last king of the Babylonians, whos father Nabonidus had been devoted to the moon Goddess Sin (Sumerian: Inanna, Akkadian: Ishtar). "Belshazzar's Feast" is the part of Daniel in which the desecration of the temple gold from Solomon's temple is described:

“King Belshazzar gave a great banquet for a thousand of his nobles and drank wine with them. While Belshazzar was drinking his wine, he gave orders to bring in the gold and silver goblets that Nebuchadnezzar his father had taken from the temple in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them. So they brought in the gold goblets that had been taken from the temple of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines drank from them. As they drank the wine, they praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and stone.”

(while Nebuchadnezzar is described as being Belshazzar's father, the word is commonly believed to have the meaning of 'forefather')

"A smell like frankincense, but not quite" might refer to myrrh, one of the presents which the three wise men brought, together with frankincense and gold. Besides its use as incense, myrrh has been used in various Eastern (Chinese, Ayurveda etc.) and Middle-eastern traditions for its large number of healing properties, and is also used as such in modern medicine.

I have added a new post with a link to the protocol that we used, which can easily be adapted for future use with other target angels.
A little congruency that is kind of interesting, at least for me - 'The witch god, known as the 'star-crossed serpent' who is the Lord of This World, is Azazel, the leader of the Watchers or fallen angels who mated with 'the daughters of men'. He is also know as Tubal Cain, the mythical first blacksmith in the Old Testament' - source: fn.4, p29, The Robert Cochrane Letters, Capall Bann 2002.

On the names - well obviously we got something other than Axir, mwho didn't show at any time during the scrying. Zadakiel might be cognate with Zedekiel, one of the names in the central pentagram on the Sigillum. Zadakiel is also associated with Jupiter and the color Violet and Mercy, at least according to the the listing at Wikipedia (which we all know as 'that ever reliable source of knowledge')

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zadkiel

As for the first name, Azakiel, obviously there are resonances in the second part of the name but not in the first syllable. Curiously there are a whole bunch of internet userID's that are 'azakiel', so it seems a common name for net avatars, which is a little odd perhaps.

There is indeed quite a lot in common between Cerridwen and Hekate. One inevitably thinks in triplicities here as Hekate is triple-formed. Cerridwen's cauldron stands on three legs and both may stand at the centre of a crossroads.
Hekate is often at the centre of a crossroads with her three faces looking towards the four winds and the same site is often occupied by the cauldron, where the flames are fanned by those winds.
