This comment has been allowed because it made with laugh out loud. It seems like it's spam, with the name (angry) being nothing more than a link to a rather poor website (<a href=http://instructable.com" rel="nofollow">instructables.com</a> is so much more interesting). It's also a curious comment anyway - the antagonism to 4x4's is something I came across while my partner had an old landrover discovery. The car was driven maybe once a month, usually to take a pile of film gear somewhere or all the kids and us into the countryside for rituals or walks, but still the notion that a type of car is evil persisted. The real problem is surely the fact people use and own cars fullstop. There is little need for this, other than the capitalist induced drive to be isolated, in this case in our travel and to work at strange distances from where we live. The most fascinating thing, however, is the sheer moralism that comes from this type of anti4x4 brigade, the fanaticism and curious moralism that the whole 'green' thang generates, as though some individual act is going to save anything - when in fact it usually appears as akin to the christian who goes to church on sunday to appease their money-grabbing exploitation on monday. Anyway, comment allowed...with comment.
