How you can help
You can help us to protect badgers by telling us about:
Road fatalities and sett locations
Please notify us on our Badger Hotline (07910 198720) of badger road fatalities and sett locations (this latter information will be treated in strict confidence).
Injured badgers
An injured badger can be an extremely dangerous animal to handle. Unless you know what to do, approach with care to assess the situation but do not touch the badger. Please telephone our Badger Hotline (07910 198720) or the RSPCA (08705 555999) for help.
Badger persecution
If you see suspicious activity at a badger sett, do not confront anyone. Remain unseen and note the description of the men, dogs and equipment. Look for any vehicles involved and note the make, colour and registration number of each one. Then call for help using our badger hotline - 07910 198720 (24 hours). Or you can call the RSPCA on 08705 555999, or Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999.
In an emergency situation and if all the above numbers are unavailable, please dial 999 and ask for the Police.
